Nellie Keller, VP of Personal Banking at the Bismarck South location is a go-getter. If you’ve met her, there is no denying the fact that she regularly puts people first. According to Missy Lamp, Education Area Specialist at Bismarck South, Nellie not only helps people from different departments at this location, she also has been known to travel to the Bismarck North location. “If someone needs help, all they need to do is call, and Nellie is there at full gallop,” She said.

A few weeks ago, Erica Thilges, CSR Front Line at Bismarck South had planned a surprise celebration of National IT Day for Joyce Dewald and Steve Fercho, the IT professionals at Bismarck North. She’d gotten red and blue streamers and balloons and even a banner that said ‘Happy National IT Day – Thanks for all you do.’ She planned to head over to that location after 5pm to decorate, so the celebration would be a surprise for Joyce and Steve when they arrived the next morning. But Erica found herself in a situation where she needed to be in two places at once, needing to close down the frontline at 5.

Erica needed help planning her surprise for National IT Day – and Nellie came to the rescue.

She didn’t have to think twice about who could step in for her to take the balloons and streamers up North. Why, Nellie of course! And true to form, once she’d been asked to take care of the IT Day decorations, Nellie charged ahead. “It only takes 20 minutes to drive to the North location, and what’s a little time to make your team mates feel appreciated?” Said Nellie. “It’s the little things you do that make a difference! I’d encourage everyone to try it. Just ask someone, ‘what can I do to help?’”
